Sharon Jane Kennard (nee Darvill)
Died Aged 39 on 3rd July 2007
Passed away after a year long fight against cancer, and left behind her two sons, Kevin and Lewis, and her husband, Mark.
Where to begin?
I’ve tried to understand why Sharon had to leave us, and to be honest, I don’t think I ever will, but, I do know that Sharon did what she came to do.
She raised two great sons, who don’t do drugs, steal cars or mug old ladies. She did what she came to do.
She gave her family and friends some fantastic memories of laughter and fun, so much laughter. She did what she came to do.
She was my soulmate, my best friend, the one. She was someone nobody can ever replace. I was only married to her for 6 days, after being with her for 17 months, and we only had 5 months together before her diagnosis, but in the brief time we had she taught me about true love and how to be a man. I’m a better man for knowing her –She did what she came to do

A Legacy of Love
A wife, a mother, a great friend too,
This is the legacy we have from you.
You taught us love and how to fight,
You gave us strength, you gave us might.
A stronger person would be hard to find,
And in your heart, you were always kind.
You fought for us all in one way or another,
Not just as a wife not just as a mother.
For all of us you gave your best,
Now the time has come for you to rest.
So go in peace, you've earned your sleep,
Your love in our hearts, we'll eternally keep.
Rest now princess, you will always be remembered and you will always live in our hearts for as long as we live. I love you so much. I will always miss you.

I cant believe it has been 4 years, so much has happend and it still makes me so so sad that you havnt been hear to share it with. i do tell your pic all the news though :)

I came across this memorial quite by accident, it brought tears to my eyes. Sharon sounds as though she was the sort of person I would have liked to have know.

hi i just want to let u no that the pain u go through when u loose your partner your life falls apart your heart aches i lost my partner 9months ago to cancer he was 50 a man full of life ,he didnt give up not til the end . i have just bin on his web site . being to write to him doesnt make things eny easier but makes u feel better knowing they r looking down on u . heaven must b a big place but he only excepts angles . so i bet your wife will b looking down on you and her sons she will make sure no harm wil come to u all god b wiv u

my heart goes out to you mark, i lost my mum a few weeks ago,aged 49,due to MS. i can see by your tribute that Sharon was a very brave and wondeful lady and want to wish you and your family all the best for the future.
